Almighty Abseil Challenge 2013 – County Hall

A free event on Saturday (2 March) at Kingsbury Square, Aylesbury, will kick off public registrations for a mass abseil charity event taking place on 7 September. The Almighty Abseil Challenge will offer 100 people across Buckinghamshire the opportunity to abseil 200 feet down the side of the County Hall building in Aylesbury. Click here for more info. High speed broadband one step closer for rural Buckinghamshire

Current data suggests that 28% of the 220,234 premises in Buckinghamshire will not have a high speed broadband connection by 2015. Of these, 60% are in Aylesbury Vale district.

I am pleased to hear that the Government declared last week that it was increasing its funding contribution of £3.07 million for broadband development in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire by £1.08m.

Buckingham Saturday 135 Market Bus Service

Please support the new Buckingham Saturday 135 market bus service, linking up many of the surrounding villages with the town.
