Community Speedwatch

I receive a number of complaints every month about speeding. I bring these to the attention of Thames Valley Police,  the Neighbourhood Action Group and the Local Area Forum. When resources and staffing allow, the police do arrange for enforcement action, but due to many demands on their time this is not as often as some parishes and residents would like. The Local Area Forum has recently funded new equipment and training for volunteers who want to help reduce speeding in their neighbourhood, and I am seeking volunteers now for the Community Speedwatch programme! See the Bucks County CouncilSpeedwatch website for more details.

Neighbourhood Action Group AGM

The Buckingham & Maids Moreton Neighbourhood Action Group meeting is on Wednesday 26 November at the Buckingham Community Centre at 7pm. Worried about local crime, drug use, HGVs, anti-social behaviour etc?  Free refreshment.

Pleased to report that resurfacing of West Street and School Lane junction now completed. Thank you to local residents coping with the night working, to reduce impact on day time traffic in the town centre.
