Buckingham Town Council

I attended Buckingham Town Council meeting last night and was pleased to be able give some good news on the repaving of Victoria Row after a long campaign by residents. The developer presentations on the proposed Cornwall Meadows 83-room care home and the 170 houses east of Buckingham (next to Page Hill) were received with little enthusiasm and will be interesting to see if the developers take on board any of the comments made.

Local Access Forum

Earlier today I attended the quarterly Local Access Forum. The meeting is an opportunity for a range of rights of way users to discuss issues relating to maintenance, the definitive map and other access issues. Details of the meetings can be found on the Buckinghamshire County Council website: www.buckscc.gov.uk/environment/rights-of-way/future-of-rights-of-way/local-access-forum/
