Buckingham Annual Town Meeting

I attended the Buckingham annual town meeting this evening: to hear about what the town council has been doing over the last year, and to share news from the county council. Afterwards, there was a good round-table discussion with many residents about new developments, suggestions for road repairs and road safety to name just three topics. It was good to see the police, fire and other local service providers attending and taking to residents on a wide range of topics.

Buckingham Transport Plan

I am pleased to report that the new Buckingham Transport Plan has been published and this will help inform the future infrastructure provisions over the coming 10-15 years. A key part of the proposal is the A422/A421 Western link road which is the result of a lot of hard work during the development of the plan! You can read the details on the county council website. Appendix one is the summary document.
